1. Are the elevator wire ropes durable?
The elevator wire rope has special provisions and requirements. Configuration considers not only wire rope and rated load, but also the size of the traction. The tensile strength exceeds the lift weight, with a safety factor of four or more wire ropes, preventing simultaneous breakage.
2. Is it dangerous during sudden power failure while the elevator is running?
In such cases, the elevator automatically stops due to electrical and mechanical safety devices. The brakes engage during power failure. Planned outages are preceded by prior notice from power supply departments.
3. Will users be hurt if the doors close suddenly?
The doors automatically reopen when touched during closing, with anti-pinch switches preventing closure. The closing force is carefully calibrated for safety.
4. How does the elevator operate?
Elevators move via counterweight wire ropes through traction drive, moving vertically along guide rails.
